Pete Green single launch - This Thursday

As we've mentioned a few times on Indie-mp3 over the past few months - the new single on our Lostmusic Records label is the wonderful 'Platform Zero' EP by Pete Green. We're currently making up the DIY sleeves here at Lostmusic HQ. This is so they are ready for the launch gig that is coming up this Thursday. All those that pre-ordered - the singles should be in the post by the start of next week. If you still want to order the single - you can do so here.

Back to the launch show. It's all taking place at The Betsey Trotwood and is hosted by the always wonderful Spiral Scratch - as well as Pete Green there are three other cracking bands including the wonderful Stars in Coma, Komon and Jam on Bread. Here is the full details of the show:

Stars in Coma is André Brorsson's from Malmö and for this, his only UK popshow, he'll have a full band. Whee! An instant indiepop classic, Stars in Coma sound like the sonic swirl of Felt, the off-kilter melody of The Pastels, the pure pop of fellow Swedes Celestial and also like… well, nothing else really!

Komon is Antonia Pehrson, a self-confessed one-woman electrotwee sensation from Gothenburg: superfast drum machines, fuzz guitar and Casio keyboards. She's ace. This is going to be her first time playing in the UK!

Pete Green's impeccable timing brings him to London for the first show of his UK tour to promote his new vinyl EP on Lost Music, Platform Zero. This is going to be your first opportunity to get your hands on a copy of a thing of true beauty and to hear Pete fill your head with his pretty popsongs about the football, the railways and the NME awards.

Jam on Bread is a young boy from Manchester via Grimsby carrying nothing but a beard, a ukelele and the cutest voice sings songs about the Swedish indiepop scene and Jason Donovan. Swoonsome!
