Mary Shelley Overdrive emailed about a completely free LP they have available to download. It's called 'Hideous Sexy' . The LP is a collection of cover songs recorded during practice sessions, rehearsals, etc. during the recording of their as yet untitled new LP.Included on the album are covers of songs by Blue Oyster Cult, Antiseen, Black Flag, Devo, Bo Diddley, The White Stripes and The Vaselines, as well as an interpretation of the '60s Batman theme.
The band hail from South Carolina in the USA. This are best described as a scuzzy rock'n'roll guitar band - with nods to 80s grebo rockers like Gaye Bykers On Acid, early Pop Will Eat Itself, The Cramps and a general old school indie vibe .
