TacocaT are a four piece from Seattle. They will be releasing their début album Shame Spiral on Don't Stop Believing Records on June 10th.They have four tracks from the album available for streaming on My Space and this is the type of punky indie pop I am quite endeared too. It's a bit like a Dressy Bessy mixed with X Ray Spex. These tracks also reminds me of the riot grrrrl stuff from a few years back so it's no surprise to hear their version of Huggy Bear's Her Jazz. My favourite at present is Dry Land Is A Myth but I am sure that will change tomorrow. Loud and rebellious. I like.
