Phil Wilson versus Pocketbooks

Here is some footage from the Lostmusic Presents gig on Thursday night. Phil Wilson, ex June Brides, with his cohorts Frank (viola) and big John Hunter (trumpet) supported by Pocketbooks for a cover of the June Brides classic In The Rain.

Head to Phil Wilson's My Space page and you will find a video of the same line up covering The Go Betweens Lee Remick. It was a pretty good gig and the videos are a testament to a great night!

That was fucking marvelous! What a song. I definitely would have been one of those bopping heads in the audience. Hee!

Also the camera work left me feeling a bit drunk. It must have been all too much to try to stay still and upright during this. :D
