Mocking Bird, Wish Me Luck are a Swedish band from Angelholm. The band was put together by brothers Daniel and Niklas Wennergren who used to be Sibyl Vane.The band have released a couple of EP's previously and are now about to release their début album Days Come And Go as well as the new single Pictures (Too Big To Fit In A Site) on Blow Up Records in the next couple of months.
There are three songs for streaming on My Space. This is lovely, gentle folk inspired indie pop that invokes the idea of Jens Lekman fronting Belle & Sebastian. Simple as that. Nothing too fancy but it's effective to these ears to say the least.
There are no downloads to be had on My Space although Swedes Please has posted an mp3 of the single here.
