Spilt Milk are a new London based band. 'Frank' is their debut release on new London label - Happy Release Records (previously responsible for singles by Dirty Hands and Molloy). The single comes out on 21st January 2008 and the band have a number of gigs coming up to support the release. These being:22nd December - London - Betsey Trotwood
8th January - London - Rhythm Factory
22nd January - London - Single launch @ The Comedy
23rd January - London - Acoustic show @ The Blag Club, Notting Hill
I have to say I have taken quite a shine to the lead song 'Frank'. It's a great pop song - with a tune that will get right under your skin from the first listen. This is one fun and catchy guitar pop song. The 'B' side is called 'Little Habits' which is a somewhat shuffling and quirky affair. It's not as instant as the 'A' side but it's not half bad in its own right - but I am playing the song 'Frank' a lot more at the moment - a song that has a real indiepop disco floor filler potential.
