My former bandmates, Heiða and Elvar, have just released a new album as Hellvar. They'll be playing some gigs in Berlin around new year's eve, so if you're somewhere around there say hi to them from me. Both of them have been very prolific in various indie and punk bands in Iceland for many years, and now they've recruited bassist Sverrir from legendary twee band Texas Jesús (which should get a special mention here soon), and one Alexandra on guitar. Their release concert, to be held on next friday, will take place in a bus which will be driving around Reykjavik.Here's a taster from the new album:
