Foxes!

Foxes! have been written about nearly everywhere except on indie mp3 in the past year. I was sure I had written about them previously and an e-mail received from the band last week prompted me to check. Could I find any trace? Could I heck and I guess that I imagined the whole thing. So let's put that right.

Foxes! originally came from Oxford but have since relocated to Brighton. I guess they can't move for bands down there now! They have released two EP's in the shape of 46a Appleside Drive and Hellomynameishenry@hotmail.com as well as contributing a track to Alcopopular Vol 1 compilation.

And what do they sound like? Well it's everything and more you want from an indie pop band. Well written songs, girl vocals, some jangling guitars and some lovely melodic sounds coming from the keyboards. That's all you need to know is it not? Despite coming from middle England the band do have that distinctive sound that American bands possess. I can hear plenty of here to compare especially to the Elephant Six bands such as Dressy Bessy and Essex Green.
