Labrador Summer Sampler 2007 - Labrador Press Release

We have a very exciting autumn at Labrador with new albums from Irene and Club 8 in September, Sambassadeur in October and The Radio Dept. in November. Til then, we hope you will enjoy our summer gift - the official Labrador Summer Sampler of 2007. Sixty eight of our favourite songs - from forgotten classics like Chasing Dorotea's "Anchor song" to the new Club 8 single "Whatever you want".

Download the MP3 sampler in zip-format here (336MB)

Enjoy and remember that September's not so far away. Have a good summer*!

Judging by the slowness of their site and the slow downloads Labrador are getting hammered. Good luck in trying to download it. They should had released it as a torrent file though.

EDIT: Labrador admit they over estimated the demand for this sampler and it is now available via Rapidshare. You may also want to know that most of these tracks are available separately via their sounds page or streamed via Last FM.

*Obviously they are unaware of the terrible weather we have had in the UK the past month!

The estimated download time was four days or so...

Yeah, I got 25% download and gave up. It was slower than 1997.

It downloaded overnight for me. At first glance most of the tracks seem to be those available on their download page and collated into one zip file!

An overnighter for me as well - a bit disappointed, since (as you wrote) most of the songs were already available.

Any chance someone who has this could post it as a torrent? Seems they have taken the link down, probably due to excessive traffic on their site.

If someone can point me to a guide on how to make a torrent and a site where I don't need to create an account to upload then I will give it a try.
