Power popsters Tesco Chainstore Mascara will be releasing their debut single Writer's Block on the 17th August 2007. It will be released on Simplistic Cow Records.Additionally the band will also be releasing a couple of tracks on compilations put together for the Ascom label.
Writers Block can be streamed via My Space where there are also three other tracks to download the best being Sun's Shinin For You.

Bubblegum Lemonade have a new track called 10 Years Younger which features backing vocals from Sandra who is in Strawberry Whiplash.The song is available for streaming via My Space where you will also find some other nuggets from this Byrds/Mary Chain inspired band. Check out Unsafe At Any Speed and the Tomorrow People whilst you are there.

Following on from the mention of Strawberry Whiplash they have two new songs available for streaming alongside two older tracks for downloading on you know where.The new songs Summershine and Who's In Your Dreams are perfect examples of the simple effective pop tune and you can hear jangle pop influences all the way through. Both would make ideal 7" singles but sadly the band remain unsigned. Surely that state cannot remain for long!
