The Parallelograms

There was once a Rosehips tribute band from Sheffield simply called The Fucking Rosehips. This band has now evolved into the The Parallelograms but listening to their music you would have thought you were still listening to a tribute band. Why?

Well these tracks lean so close to the sound of the Subway Organisation you can imagine the Terrible Hildas designing their single sleeves.

Some snobs may view this as a terrible throwback but the Subway sound means more to me than that of Sarah Records which was always the upstart! So if your musical persuasion lies with The Flatmates, Bubblegum Splash, Shop Assistants and of course The Rosehips then I suggest heading over to the bands My Space page and stream all four tracks now, later and tomorrow!

The band are currently unsigned but will be playing Indie Tracks Festival and in London on 1st August 2007 when they support The Besties!
