Indie Tracks - July 28 and 29, 2007

The organisers of Indie Tracks- an unforgettable indie pop gig on a steam train at the Midland Railway in Ripley in April – have decided to put on a two day festival at the same wonderful venue in the midst of the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. The Indie Tracks festival, which takes place on July 28 and 29, will feature nearly 30 fantastic bands, including Cats on Fire, The Bobby Mcgees and Persil. Scottish guitar pop faves The Orchids headline on Saturday and the Sunday headliners have yet to be announced….so watch this space!!

Festival-goers will be able to camp in either tents or caravans at the nearby Golden Valley Caravan Park, which is located in the beautiful hamlet of Golden Valley and just a ten minute walk from the festival site. Tickets cost just £25 for a day or £45 for the weekend. For further details visit www.indietracks.co.uk. This is one definitely not to be missed!
