The UK based Swedish/French band The Envelopes have a brand new double a-sided 7" single scheduled for release on the 30th April 2007.The tracks are Smoke In The Desert, Eating The Sand, Hide In The Grass with Party on the flip. Both tracks can be streamed from the bands My Space page. The band also state that a track from the single will be available as a free download from their site tomorrow (13/04/2007)
There is a new album in the pipeline too. The new material is their first from their colloboration with Per Sunding from Eggstone.
The band are also appearing in London a few times over the next week or two commencing this forthcoming Saturday (14/04/2007):
Apr 14 - Chalk at the Scala
Apr 17 - White Heat at Madame Jojo´s
Apr 19 - Camden Crawl, Enterprise
Apr 20 - Camden Crawl, The Purple Turtle
