Den Baron

Den Baron is one man's solo project hailing out of Christmas Island allegedly but Germany may be more accurate!

There have been two releases on Apricot Records in the past and now My Space is being used to showcase both old and new tracks.

I'm not sure which was are old or vice versa but there is some good stuff here. The music is typical of a bedroom artist using a four track and whatever instruments they can get their hands on. Mix that with influences as diverse as punk, C86, easy listening etc. then you get some good results and I bet in some cases better than bands who have used expensive studios.

Of the four tracks on My Space I prefer Paris and Schizo simply because they possess some nice and catchy keyboard noises on them!

Den Baron is currently recording some tracks for a new album, release date unknown. In the meantime head to his My Space page and download the tracks.
