Youngteammusic are a Swedish band hailing from Stockholm. They formed in 2005 and have recently released their debut album Missnojesbandet on Northern Star Records. The fact that Northern Star have Airiel and Air Formation on their books should give you some idea how Youngteammusic sound.This is predominately shoegaze and guitar noise inspired by the likes of My Bloody Valentine. There is also a number of Psychedelic influences and I am somewhat impressed for some strange reason that amongst the influences they cite are Status Quo's first two albums - that's my guilty childhood secret out by the way!
Sadly there are no tracks to download and you have to either trust me on this or head to their My Space page and stream some tunes. These tracks are well noisy and get your head in a spin. Travelling is my favourite of the three. Whilst there is nothing new in what they are doing it s entertaining none the less and well worth 10 minutes of anyone's time.
