Lucky Soul - Add Your Light To Mine, Baby

Lucky Soul have possibly produced one of their finest moments in the shape of Add Your Light To Mine, Baby. The band again take from the past to give to the present with the track sounding like it has come straight from the Motown archives. References to The Ronettes, The Crystals, The Supremes etc can all be found on this track as it aims straight for the dancefloor and possibly the charts. If the band have one track that could engrave itself onto the nations conciousness this could be it.

The flip side is just as good and you can imagine Ali singing the ballad Ever Yours I Remain through grainy black & white footage on an episode of Ready Steady Go. Lucky Soul are definitely one for the girl band fan - others may find them a bit too sickly sweet!

Add Your Light To Mine, Baby is out now on Ruffa Lane. The début album The Great Unwanted is due for release on 9th April 2007.
