Days

Whilst nosing around The Electric Pop Group page (see yesterday's post) I came across a link to the Swedish band Days and was I simply blown away by what I heard.

This is music from another era namely in the shadows of 1980's England. These songs, especially Simple Thing, are hypnotising to say the least and jangle pop at it's finest. Any other words will not do them justice.

The band have just signed to Lavender and while there are no releases as of yet something may appear on Shelflife in 2007.

Play these songs - now!

I try to but my memory is a bit crap these days. Anyway I was just echoing Larryhag's point of view. Have I dug myself out of a hole yet? :)

Oh well, it happened to me several times that I had discovered a new band, entered their name in Google... to find a review written by myself :)

What! In their jangle pop period? Mind you I do love Messages by OMD.

I was a big fan back then, even thinking about visiting their concert next year. Just for all time sake ;)
