I recently found out about the Sideroom blog.
The blog posts mixes taken from the writers 7" singles collection and there are plenty of tracks to keep any fans of indie and jangle pop interested. Well worth a listen and a download especially as they are distributed in 320 k/bits mp3!
There are many complaints that C86 wasn't diverse enough in the music it collated or it did not include other types of music from the same era. To hear what else was "going down" in 1986 visit the Dalston Oxfam Shop and download (or not as the case may be) the Hit Mix 86 Tape which is a continuous mix of 1986 hits. I kid you not!
