Pajo/Audrey - Split EP

It's two tracks a piece from Pajo and Audrey on this split EP. The tracks from the latter may be familiar as they both appeared on the recent Visible Forms album which was their hauntingly beautiful debut. Both Mecklenburg and Six Yields are representative of said album and if their ethereal and orchestral music doesn't grab you nothing will.

Pajo is David Pajo formerly of the guitarist of Slint/Zwan/Tortoise/For Carnation. The tracks here are far removed from his current band, the metal outfit Dead Child. Very similar sounding to Audrey and the other music Stereo Test Kit is putting out present. Dark, gloomy, eerie and predominately acoustic based with the titles (It's You That Burns and Celebrity Death] giving you some clues as regards to the songs content.

Well worth picking up and another release that demonstrates how vital a label Stereo Test Kit is becoming.

Audrey - Mecklenburg

The Split EP is out on November 13th on Stereo Test Kit Records.
