Lost Penguin

Blimey. Just how old are these kids?

Lost Penguin have released one single on Fake Product called Mr Whippy and they will be releasing the follow-up Pleasurewoods Kills in early December.

They sound like The Aphex Twin put in a blender with BIS, Huggy Bear and a whole heap of indie & punk attitude resulting in the sort of noise John Peel would have been proud of. Stream the b-side of the new single on My Space. Called I Believe I Can Fly it's one of the most brazen tunes I have heard all year and lead singer Charleigh Blue's voice reminds me of Lesley Rankine when she was in Silverfish.

DIY noise merchants. I like.
