The Juliet Kilo

The Juliet Kilo is the one man band project of David Levin. Currently residing in Boston, this soft-spoken bearded young man has a passion for weird electronic gadgets from which he can squeeze the most amazing sounds. Coupling these weird electronics with a guitar... well... or a banjo, David has produced some beautiful songs which he is currently releasing on limited edition CD's available from his website. Taking his artist name from the NATO offficial phonetic alphabet, he also has an interest in Iceland which luckily made him head my way in august to play two shows in Reykjavik, one along with his Boston neighbours Pants Yell!

From the EP "Please Excuse Me If My Heart Stops Beating":
The Juliet Kilo - 45 miles ago I promised I would stop
The Juliet Kilo - The tools for what you hands can't do
From the new EP "Careers in Radio":
The Juliet Kilo - Poison Water

The latter, despite having fewer songs, is better in my opinion, it has more melody per song, in fact I love all the songs on it, whereas the former tends to weer off towards electronic insanity and leave me stranded in a sea of puzzlement.

magnusk - I have an important offtopic question. What do you think, why indie music is not stolen by Russian mp3 sites like allofmp3.com or www.mp3ninja.com? Its a trend! It has to be explained somewhere.
