The Ballet is a new name on me and I have spent the past day or two playing their songs via My Space. The band have pressed their own debut album Mattachine! and it is now in it's second pressing. They have started being picked up on blogs and have recently supported the likes of Voxtrot.And what do they sound like? Well this is sugar sweet indie pop at it's finest and the songs available are all excellent examples of this! My favourite In Your Head stays and just does that. It's infectious sound will be imprinted into your brain for a while to come.
