Asaka - Indie Goodness From Stockholm

Asaka are an indie pop band from Stockholm, Sweden. The band have recorded four EP's over the past two years which I presume may have been CDR releases.

Their latest one was simply titled Autumn 2006 and it's available for streaming via their website or downloading/streaming via their My Space page.

I have got to say the songs I have listened to have been pretty impressive. The Birth Of The Cool is the stand out track for me with it's mixture of British & American influences, past & present, transforming into one of those sublime Swedish indie pop moments.
