The Trudy - Lost Summer Of Love

The Trudy deliver another slice of pop which proves that you can have your cake and eat it! I'm hard pressed to recall if anyone else has provided such consistent and wonderful vocals as Melissa Jo Heathcote has done this year. Firstly on previous single Oh! and now on Lost Summer Of Love this trend continues. The song is a tale of failed summer romance but still manages to jump around with hope and unabashed abandon, demonstrating the art of how power pop should be played. Super stuff.

Lost Summer Of Love is only available as a digital download and you can pick it up here in high quality (320 k/bits) mp3.

I'm sure I have a 15 year old single by The Trudy knocking about somewhere... Is this the same band ?

Nice sound. Reminds me of a lot of late 80s pop bands. Who were nearly indie.
