Daddy Long Legs are a three piece indie rock band from London who released their debut 7" single, the double a-side Captain Aqua/Soup earlier this year.However if you missed it don't despair as the band have licensed it to the sounds eXPerience label, which is the label set up by contributors to sounds XP including myself, for release digitally. The release has an extra track not available on the 7". Ear Candy said:
Captain Aqua is a mix of The Jam, Gang Of Four and The Who all rolled into one with a spot of tea to wash it all down. “Soup” has a funkier more laid back feel ala The Style Council or maybe The Kinks around “Everybody’s In Show-biz, Everybody’s A Star”. This record has a lot of appeal and would be worth the time and effort to track down a copy.
