Luisa Mandou um Beijo - All free

Luisa Mandou um Beijo, whom I wrote about earlier here, have decided to give away their first album on the web. Fernando Paiva explains:

"It's been one and a half year since we released the album and our copies are finished. Anyone can find all the songs in peer-to-peer software like Soulseek or E-mule. So, we decided to ease things for our fans and make the songs available directly on our website. By the way, since the beginning, we have licensed by Creative Commons, which is a very very interesting new way to administrate your artist rights. We don´t care that people are sharing our songs. We are happy with that! We want our music to be listened to. We didn´t make the songs avaible before in respect to our labels, that spent some money making the copies. But we always accepted that it´s normal to share music through the internet, and the labels respected our opinion too."

In the meantime Fernando and Co. aren't sitting idly by, but cooking another album to be released in early 2007. I, for one, am going to nail me a copy of that one when it's released. All 11 songs from the first album are available on their website, and here are a few favorites of mine:

Luisa Mandou um Beijo - Guardanapos
Luisa Mandou um Beijo - Bauhaus Today
Luisa Mandou um Beijo - Amarelinha
Luisa Mandou um Beijo - Maracana
