Blogs Of Note

Here are links to a couple of blogs I have come across recently linking to music of yester year:

Respected Vinyl - Jayne has dug out her old turntable and has been converting vinyl into mp3 for your listening pleasure. Some great tracks from Orange Juice and The Mekons posted already.

Dalston Oxfam Shop - I have picked up some great 7"'s from my local Oxfam shop. The blogger, Dalston Shopper, has been converting cassettes he has picked up in the very same store and posting them via his blog. More dance orientated but there are a few techno classics available to download in high quality mp3. Sadly the shop is due for development soon so we both will have to find a new source of bargains!

Worthless Trash - A blog posting old 7" vinyl from the punk and new wave years. Also check out the links on the site for more of the same.

I must admit that coming across these blogs makes me want to get my turntable fixed or a replacement so I can post my old singles again as per the previous version of this site!

    Thanks for the plug!

Unfortunately my stylus is knacked, but I`m getting a new turntable very soon, and will get right back onto it!

Will be posting other music in the meantime; just stuff I`m come across that may be of interest.
