Ponies in the Surf say on their web page:
We think music is the most beautiful and profound thing possible in this world, and we try our best not to commit too many crimes against it.
And indeed siblings Camille and Alexander McGregor won't be arrested in the near future for crimes against music. Described as "acoustic psych-folk duo from Boston" they melodies are gentle and even sleep inducing in a good sense. Kinda like Sigurrós... with a dash of Pink Floyd even. They are labelmates with the excellent Pants Yell! on Asaurus Records, where they've released the LP "Ponies on Fire" in december 2005.
And they'll be blasting away on october 6th at the New England Popfest.
