Listening to The Bridge Gang is an ideal way to start the week. Listening to the Bridge Gang's new single Blue Sky Grey is an even better start! Thanks to bassist Lucy who has kindly supplied me with mp3's of the new single and it's b-side you too can do the same. It's a bit different to their normal sound and the band have said they will never play it live after recording it in one take.The single, which is the follow up to debut single Pangs Of Guilt, will be released in September on Brille Records on limited 7" vinyl (500 copies). In the meantime London readers of this blog should try and catch them live as believe me they are simply one of the best live bands you would wish to see.

First time i have heard this band. A side is absolutely fantastic, and the b-side seems totally out of left field, but a treat none the less.
By an old US Hardcore band called Fang. I think thier record "Landshark" was something out of 1982-83. Great cover, and thankfully even better original.

I'm from the US of A, but I still have some taste in music. The Bridge Gang is awesome. Their work is worth buying...I would if I could! Sadly, it's not availible in the US yet. They are gritty, they are raw, and they have some kind of magic that is not really describable...so give them a listen!
