Shop Assistants - Rare Flexi Tracks

The tracks here, including a cover of JAMC's You Trip Me Up, came with a free flexi that accompanied the 7" Vinyl Box Set for the single Here It Comes. The single, released in 1989, was the band's "comeback" following the departure of Alex Taylor who joined The Motorcycle Boy in 1987 with bass player Sarah Neale taking over on vocals.

The comeback was short lived. Another single, Big E Power, quickly followed but the band ended when guitarist Dave Keegan left for good after joining the Pastels full time in 1990.

You can read more about The Shop Assistants on my site dedicated to them. I have plenty more articles to transcribe and I hope to do that sometime in the future.
