It was Primal Scream Day on BBC Radio six this past Monday (05/06/2006). There was a series of programmes about the band including a concert, a documentary on Screamadelica and a mix presented by the band.

If you missed all of this you can still listen to the programmes by visiting the Primal Scream day pages on Six Music.

The band have recently released their latest album titled Riot City Blues which heads for a return to their rockier days. The single Country Girl is pretty decent but I still prefer Rocks. And Velocity Girl of course!

Primal Scream's new album is utter shite! Pathetic, turgid retro-rock.
Worst disc ever from this occasioanly brilliant group.
