I have not put together a podcast for a couple of months now because I have been experimenting with recording my own shows. Sadly my east end tones sound awful and you would be forgiven if you thought Marvin the robot was presenting. So it's back to the drawing board and the music only shows make a reappearance with a bumper crop. Enjoy!
The Charade - Dressed In Yellow & Blue
The new album A Real Life Drama is out on 20th June 2006. You can order it from here.
The Carrots - Beverly
I cannot tell you anything about this band further to my previous post. Anyone know anything about them?
Mighty Six Ninety - Leave This World
The debut single from the Americans who sound like they come from Manchester. Stream more from their My Space page.
Bobby Baby - Lucky Moments
A new-ish track from the Swedish chanteuse. Bobby Baby has her debut single the Loves To Dance EP out now. You can buy it from Red Letter Day Records - any excuse not too?
The Arrogants - Lovesick
The album You've Always Known When Best To Say Goodbye has been released in the UK and Europe on Letter Box Records. For £7 you get a 23 track album plus DVD of interviews and the entire back catalogue in mp3 format.
Sambassadeur - Kate
The lead track from the current Coastal Affairs EP which you can buy direct from Labrador Records.
Speedmarket Avenue - He's A Rebel
A classic track from these Swedes who have now got a new female singer and are currently recording new material.
Hot Club De Paris - Sometimesitsbetternottostickbitsofeachotherineachotherforeachother
Try saying that after a few beers. A version of the soon to be released single by the Scouse Futureheads who are the most entertaining band on the gig scene right now.
Amida - Class of 2000
1980's style jangle pop from Manchester. The Amida EP is out now - buy here.
The Radio Dept - The Worse Taste In Music
The current single and track from the excellent Pet Grief album both of which can be purchased at Labrador Records.
Audrey - Mecklenburg
Taken from the brand new album Visible Forms which can be purchased (and listened too) via Tendervision Recordings. Expect a July release date for the uK.
