There are some pretty decent singles scheduled for release over the next month or two with some bands looking for a piece of the UK chart action.
The Pipettes are back on form with the new single Pull Shapes which is set for release on July 3rd. They release their debut album We Are the Pipettes on July 17th. The band are currently on tour. Check their website for details.

The Whip have followed up their excellent Frustration single (see review here) with a new limited edition 12" single called Trash on Lavolta Recordings. The track is a lot more dancey than Frustration but worringly the remix heads into Sheep On Drugs territory.

Mighty Six Ninety have a new single scheduled for release on August 7th 2006. Titled Keeping You In Mind it's the follow up to the 7" only Believable. I'm unsure which label it's on or where it will be sold at this point but if it's anything like their previous two singles then it's worth getting hold off.
