Without a release to their name, unless you count the free EP being distributed at gigs, the Computer Club are already picking up the plaudits. The band formed in 2004 and sound to me like a cross between The Futureheads and the funkier aspects of Postcard Records with parts of the Gang Of Four thrown in for good measure.The band do not have a website at present but have a page on My Space where the tracks from the free EP are available for downloading. Out of the three Stand Up(And Be Told) is the erm, stand out track by far with it's post punk riffs and vocals. Give it a listen and you will know what I mean.
