Bib - Jobs on The Line?

Although I was vaguely aware of Bib it wasn't until I heard the 06 remix of Jobs-On-Line on the Dogbox Records Blue Skies Up compilation that I became a fan of their music. It's truly one of the tunes of 2006 with it's synth pop beats going up against some excellent lyrics and vocals. If The Pet Shop Boys were on c86 you may be able to get some idea of what Bib are like and it gives them that all important identity/originality that keeps them apart from the mass of bands out there.

I decided to search the band out and liked what I found. Firstly they are a band of locals from the same boozer, apparently introduced to each other by George Best! After releasing two self published CD's they released their first single proper in February 2005 Jobs-On-Line b/w Victims of Crime on Adult Baby Records. In April Dogbox Records released a free digital single titled I Wanna Be A Better backed by Flowers.

And what do they sound like? This is synthpop based pop music and it's pretty catchy with it. You will have these addictive tracks in your head for days to come.
