Mr Red Penguin writes about the 2005 Festive 50. You can download the chart topper too. I could not find anything about it on the BBC website though.
Good Weather For Airstrikes has compiled the Top 10 Remixes of 2005 complete with mp3's. I think someone has brought the Bloc Party remix album which was pretty gruesome listening to say the least. Surely there were better remixes in 2005 such as the New Order ones for starters?

Finally please note that the indie mp3 RSS feed has reverted back to feedburner, whose service has improved recently. That saves me manually editing my own RSS feed now.
