Paisley Riot are a four piece outfit hailing from Wolverhampton. They formed in 2004 and started playing live dates in early 2005 in order to promote themselves.
They have now released a web only three track EP titled "Crackerjack" and it is not bad. Describing themselves as Energectic Guitar Pop they are not far wrong! The tempo of the tracks crash backwards and forwards hooking the listener in for more. However it's the vocals that stand out for me. I just can't place them but it reminds me of something - maybe some old 1980's power pop band like The Power Of Dreams but I cannot be sure. However the tracks are worthy of a listen and "Devil Only Knows" is my favourite.
