The Help Me Please - Jingle Bells And All That

Believe it or not I saw the first Christmas display in a shop here in London on the late summer bank holiday - that's the 31st August for those not in the UK. I don't know about elsewhere but by the time Christmas does come round I am heartedly sick of it because you have been subjected to marketing for over three months. And there is me thinking it has religious connotations......

It's not all bad as this Christmas release from The Help Me Please testifies. It's a free download Christmas single titled "Hear the Bells Ring" and is the follow up to the excellent "A Little Love" EP released a couple of months ago and carries on in the lo-fi vein but with added casio effects. Jingle Bells!

Here in Los Angeles I saw the Christmas decorations go up right after Halloween if you can believe that.
