Celestial and The Crack Babies

Celestial is a new musical project from Sweden and has received assistance from the founder member of the Crack Babies. He has a blog here where I first learnt about the band.
Celestial are working on a demo at present and one of the tracks have surfaced on their My Space Page. "Dream On" is a lovely little tine that reminds me of some of the early releases on Creation Records (except for "Upside Down Of Course")and other eaerly 1980's jangle pop. It's that good and I look forward to hearing the demo when it has been completed.

Also give the other tracks a listen that you can stream or download from the My Space page such as "Nothing Happens Twice" which is a delicious slice of indie pop.
Talking about the Crack Babies it's worthwhile downloading their tracks available from the "Smoking At Gas Stations" EP that was released earlier this year. I wrote a review of it here. The Crack Babies - Shine
The Crack Babies - Honey Believer

lostmusic still has a few of those Crack Babies CDs for sale. I am also happy to say that lostmusic has risen from the dead after an enforced 11 day break due to server crashes and database nastyness.
I am sure Celestial music is a different guy to the Crack Babies. Am sure Mr Crack Baby has done some stuff with Celestial Music - which is where the link comes in.
Amended!
That Crack Babies stuff is really excellent, all that feedback puts a smile on my face!
Cheers Tom for the support, greatly appreciated.. The name of the band is just "Celestial", no "music" in the name.. Great stuff around the corner!
HR - Amended - again! Looking forward to haering your other stuff.
