Camera Obscura

I saw Camera Obscura last night at The Water Rats. They were simply sublime despite the horrendous heat and then the over the top air conditioning battling out for environmental supremacy! I have never seen them before and can safely say that the gig is in my top five for the year and of course they played "Eighties Fan". The band certainly looked like they were enjoying themselves which is always a good sign.

I was there too. Third time I have seen them! Thought they were great, they didn't miss the other singer bloke as much as I thought they might.

Am sure I spotted you, but didn't have much to go on description wise! We should co-ordinate better and meet up one day soon. Are you going to Santa Dog is Dec?

Look for the fat bloke who looks like Jack Wild and that's me! If I knew you were going we could have met somewhere. I'm hoping to make Santa Dog. Trying to persuade the other half to go.

I didn't manage to make this show - which is a shame - but they've been excellent the three or four times I've seen them before...looking forward to that new album - I guess they must have played some new songs?

I sincerely hope that they played San Fransisco Song, which is one of my favorite songs.
