The Sorayas have just released their latest EP titled "Hours To Days" which you can buy from CDON.com.
These are one of the bands I meant to follow up after hearing their contribution to Labrador's Sound Of Young Sweden Vol 4, "Easy Tune". The band consists of Soraya Mirgalou (drums), Annika Forsberg (Guitar and vocals) and Hanna Maurin (bass) forming in 2000. I think there have been a few line up changes but I think they are back to their original line-up.
The band play a punk influenced brand of power pop and have released one seven inch and one cassette release before this latest release and if you like your pop music noisey I can recommend them.

A friend of mine (bet you've never heard that one before?) is friends with at least their singer, the hype has been rather intense around here from time to time though I must say I wasn't hooked when I heard their latest demo about one and a half years ago.. Should give them another chance I guess.
