Double Dan

Double Dan are (you've guessed it) Dan Lindgren (guitar/voice) whilst Dan Eriksson (no relation to England's Sven I hope!) plays the bass. They are joined by Joakim Ödlund on the guitar.

The two Dans were in the band Ambassadeurs and the name changed when Joakim joined. All members have a fine pedigree in the Swedish music scene. Dan L (Alexis/September), Dan E (Starlet/September/Club 8) whilst Joakim , whose name you may recognise, is a member of The Acid House Kings.

August 2005 saw the release of the Emotions in Motion e.p, which was their debut release. Each and every track here is a winner. Inspired, like so much of the Swedish scene, by C86 and twee, this is one of the strongest EP's I have heard this year. See (hear) what you think.

They have a really nice chiming guitar sound. Good find. These swedes are just too much. There are like a thousand bands and only like 20 people shared between all of them. Reminds me of Glasgow in the 80's. :-)
