Kicker released their new album "Our Wild Mercury Years" last week which you can buy from Track & Field. The label states:
Following on from their 'Fivefortyfives' collection, "Our Wild Mercury
Years' is Kicker's debut album. Influenced by The Go-Betweens, Felt, Northern Soul, Dusty, Fairport and a dash of french pop, it is a diary of five years in the life of a boy/girl London beat group operating on the margins of a big scarey city, trying to carve out a slice of the New Pop Dream.
The band have also set up a My Space page where you can listen to some songs and also download an exclusive mp3 titled "Paraguay" as well as a track from the "Fivefortyfives" album titled "No More Tears".
The band say that they will be changing the tracks that are available now and again so keep checking the page which can be found here.
