Buildings & Trees

There is not a lot of information about Buildings & Trees on their website. All it states is that "Buildings & Trees is a band of 4 with 3 singers, 2 guitarists, 1 drummer and 1 bass player. They started in 2003 in Stockholm, Sweden, playing harmonic pop with echoes of the past, present and future."

I found some more information on their music download.com page; "The sole purpose of making pop hits is for our own pleasure. All external appreciation we get is just an extra, like cucumber mayonnaise on hot dogs, says the drummer Fredrik Magnusson."

Well I don't like the sound of cucumber mayonnaise but I do like the sound of Buildings & Trees with their brand of indie pop which does not sound too dis-similar to the likes of 80's indie outfits such as The Chills for example.

Buildings & Trees - Without The Light
Buildings & Trees - 245 (We call Her Boxy)

There are three more songs at music download.com with plenty more on their homepage.
