Blue Skies is a new blog dedicated to the C86/Indie Pop scene. It's run by a Manila (Phillipines) based chap called Jun Eric Pilar (also known as C86Eric) and already he has linked to some tasty morsels such as his excellent post on a band called Hey Paulette!

What does c86 stand for?
C86 was a tape that the UK Music paper NME gave away free in 1986. It collated the shambling indie bands and the title was used to name the "scene" at the time. If you look on my main site there is more information.
