Sticking with the theme of new Irish bands (see previous post, Belfast's The Bete Noires have currently been plugging their latest EP with some London gigs. The band, again more indie rock than indie pop, have drawn comparisions to the likes of Sugar.
The tracks, whilst not hardly original (but what else is these days?) are most enjoyable and delivered with some style compared to other bands I could mention.
The Bete Noires - My Political Friend
The Bete Noires - What We Lost In
Plenty more tracks are available from their site.
You can buy a CD compiling their three releases so far from here.
