The weekly roundup returns.
Two bands who have pages on My Space are up for a mention.

First up are The Bobby McGees who play a cross between indie and folk and they come from Brighton. This form of music seems to be popular at the moment. Check out The Nixon post from the other day.
The Bobby McGees - No Friends
You can listen to three other songs on their page. To be honest it err's a bit too much on the side of English Folk music for me.

Next up is Flat Of Angles. They getb a mention because they want to rip off Big Flame. The artist states:
I play everything myself, I have one guitar, one distortion pedal and one computer. I record music with things that are free from the internet. My songs are short because I get bored and they are repetitive and people dont want to listen for ages. My guitar sounds trebley because i want to rip off bIG*fLAME and to piss you off for that. All the bass parts are a regualar guitar with all the treble taken away, because bass guitars are too expensive. I am too young aparently.
It's a bit of a mess in places but at least it's original. No songs for downloading but there are four for listening the best being "Percy and the Whelks"
News!
The My Enemy track "Collage" I mentioned last week has caused slight confusion. It is actually a mix of all the tracks on their new EP. I obviously was not paying attention to it - I have suggested it should be renamed to excerpts! However that shouldn't prevent you from downloading any of their tracks - oh no!
Sixeyes has a link to a Bloc Party concert in mp3 format. It was recorded last week in Washington.
Wallpaper Silhouettes and their latest album release are reviewed in Norwegian Eardrums. I have covered them previously in May and January of this year.
I have been venturing onto other blogs of late. These are (and I am not responsible for what they post!):
Random MP3
Jamies Runout Groove
You Ain't No Picasso
Chocoreve
Mira El Pendulo (In Spanish but covers mainly indie music)
Little Hits
And England is still boiling................phew!
