Interpol

I saw Interpol on Saturday night at the Brixton Academy and mighty fine they were too even though we were high up in the circles. One had one too many fine Youngs Ales in the Trinity Arms (surely the best pre drinks venue in Brixton these days) earlier and I was not up for writing a review! However there is a review up for the Dublin gig from last week on Sounds XP.

No tracks linked in this post but if you head to You Ain't No Picasso and scroll down a bit you can download a bootleg of Interpol KCRW broadcast. Not sure of the date but judging by the tracklist it looks like a pre-"Antics" show.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that it takes place a couple weeks before Turn On The... was released. In the interview they talk about their first album coming out soon or something. Thanks for linking to me!

Yes it was a good gig and I mentioned it on my blog. However, it was interesting to see that on 'Drowned in Sound' there were a lot punters not happy with the Friday night performance. I though it was a tight set they played.
