Agree about Electrelene and The Frenchmen (whose album is, btw, called Sorry We Spoilt Your Party).

Uhm... I mean: Sorry We Ruined Your Party.

Did you hear the Flatmates-reissue compilation?

Yeah my error! Have you heard the other albums?

As for the Flatmates Martin gave me a copy of a previous release of Love and Death to do the Flatmate archives for the site. Is the Claire reissue actually out now?

    I loved the Neulander track!

A little depressing, but great nonethless...

"Have you heard the other albums?"

I own Futureheards (which is okay) and I heard Aberfeldy (which I don't get).
And wait.. I am pretty sure I saw Neulander live. They had some songs that were okay (and nothing more than that actually) but then they played for an hour (as a support!) and then even did an encore (which I am pretty sure nobody in the audience asked for).
I will listen to Elizabeth Harper once I'm at home.

I do own the Flatmates-reissue on Clairecords, so I think that means it is out now :)

Whats your faves for 2004 them Martijn?

I also liked The Like Young, Bad Religion, Mission Of Burma and Nick Cave's for 2004. maybe I should start a top 10 thread?

Note to self: Put a link back to Think Small!!!

Bearsuit is by fave my favorite album (if not just favorite band).
Then there's Language Of Flowers of which I'm pretty sure you'll like it. The electronic Freezepop, the urgent indie of Professor Pez, the quiet pop of Kawaii and Architecture in Helsinki, Dutch electronic Persil, The Frenchmen, Electrelane, The Projects, Cessna. Reissues of Most-Wanted Men, The Flatmates and Baby Lemonade. Some non-indie stuff as Kid 606,
    Knifehandchop, Wiley.

Don't feel obliged to link Think Small of course, but if you do, I think blog.thinksmall.nl makes most sense for your visiters.

Liz Harper doesn't work for me yet (after listening once).

Hmm.. all my excitement on Bearsuit made me forget to write proper English...
Anyway, I should add The Go! Team to the list as well. And there's still a month to go, so who knows what more is coming?
