Antics With Interpol

Interpol, the eighties revivalists, who do it so much better than the vastly over-rated Franz Ferdinand, released their second album "Antics" in the UK this week. On first listens I found it as enjoyable as the debut "Turn On The Bright Lights". I am looking forward to seeing the band on their forthcoming tour as I missed them when they played London last week.

A review of the album can be found at SoundsXP

Nice to find someone else who digs Interpol. New York Cares is a beautiful song.

I however don't dig Antics as much as their debut. Feels like they rushed it or something ... just didn't have the soul their first record did. Just this humble opinion.
